What Has Your Life Taught You So Far?

My wish is that most of you are taking advantage of the free resources that we have around us.

For example, I try to make it a point to listen to a personal development type of podcast every morning and I make it a point to read. I also make it a point to exercise at least 5 days a week, mostly squeezing this in at the beginning of my day.

I would encourage you to start thinking about how you spend your days. I realize that you are taking a few minutes to read this, and hopefully, it brings you value. The value is not embedded in your ability to talk down to yourself, the value comes from the learning that you will take from this or anything else inspiring, and how you will execute and get after it.

I've been on the path to personal development and it is from this that I decided to start learning from mistakes. I know that I am not yet at my best version, and most people might just accept that, and live a life that is ok. And this is not to knock that, but merely to speak to those, who truly feel that something is missing for them.

My intention is to learn something about myself every day. My life is the only thing I can control, and I refuse to have it live me. I want to live my best life, and although it sounds like a cliché, think about it, do you want to live your worst life? My guess is that you do not.

But do you want to just live an ok life? Maybe.

Have you ever questioned why “ok” is good enough to endure?

I learned from mistakes that I have made in my life, to accept the fact that I am not ok with just “ok”.

The famous Ed Mylett has said, “What you don’t hate, you tend to tolerate.” What do you tolerate?

Is it enough to tolerate life?

I learned from mistakes in my life that I am worth more. And if I am worth more, I can get more. And if I can get more, I want to learn more about how to do that. And if it takes being more, then I can definitely do that.

And there is nothing wrong with wanting my “best”.
