I am the reason I didn't get a raise at my job
Mar 10, 2024
I made more money in a day or basically in a week than I ever did in a month at my previous job.
This made me think about my relationship with money in general and how I saw money.
I think too many of us think that if you have too much money, then you're automatically an evil person, or you've done bad things to get it, or you're just money-hungry, and you don't really care.
I hope those of you who earn your money and obviously work hard for your money, don't feel that way. Because that would mean that you work hard for your money. I attribute my success in helping my family monetarily, to how many families I get to help.
I wasn't about to spend another 20 years of my career doing the same thing repeatedly, I will take 100% responsibility for why I never got the kind of raise at my previous job.
It was always up to me to be able to leave to go look for other things. I will also take 100% percent responsibility for now living out the rest of my life in this world, to be helping people in a more impactful way. So, when I reach my version of success, I am taking 100% responsibility for why I'm successful.
I will take 100% responsibility for why I wasn't making the amount of money that I felt like I was worth because it was my choice ultimately to stay there.
Too many of us just go to work, and maybe don't put our best foot forward because we think we're worthless.
Because why should we give that 1,000% effort to a place that doesn't recognize that?
There are so many opportunities; you just have to be open-minded to know that you deserve it. Self-limiting beliefs are what keep you where you are, unhappy with where you are, and ultimately stuck where you are.
I'm going to take 100% responsibility and celebrate the fact that I'm able to live out the rest of my life, doing what I love doing, but also providing an excellent living for my family because that's important to me like it should be for you.
I get what I put in, and I know that it's me, and I've taken full control of my life. I hope this inspires you to go out there and find something that makes you happy, something that will inspire you to work hard. Life is too short, some might say, why should I work so hard? YOLO whatever, life's too hard, but guess what, you're still living, and you still need to make a living. And why not make the kind of living that you feel like you can or deserve while doing the things you're awesome at?
Go live your best life.
